Medical Weight Loss
A Clinical Path to Lasting Metabolic Health.
Personalized, provider-supervised weight management that combines medical evaluation, lifestyle coaching, and — when clinically appropriate — modern therapies like GLP-1 medications. Built for the long term.
Please note: GLP-1 and other weight-management therapies are prescribed only when clinically appropriate after provider evaluation. Individual results vary and are not guaranteed.

Who It's For.
Our weight management program supports patients navigating a range of metabolic health concerns. Care is individualized after a clinical evaluation, and not every patient will be a candidate for every component of the program.
- Obesity
- Diabetes risk and prediabetes
- High blood pressure
- Metabolic health concerns
Weight tracking
Progress, Measured Honestly.
Progress in weight management isn't just a number on a scale. We track a small set of meaningful signals over time so we can adjust the plan based on what your body is actually doing — not week-to-week noise.
What to Bring to Follow-Up Visits
- Current medication and supplement list
- Home weight log or app data (if you track at home)
- Recent home blood pressure or glucose readings, if applicable
- Questions, side effects, or concerns since your last visit
- Notes on meals, sleep, movement, or stress patterns
Fill out a short intake online and we'll have your answers ready before your visit — no printing or paperwork required.
Weight & trend line
We track weight over time and focus on the trend, not single-day fluctuations.
Waist circumference
A simple measurement that often shifts before the scale does.
Blood pressure
Monitored at each visit to gauge cardiovascular response to your plan.
Lab markers
Periodic labs (A1c, lipids, metabolic panel) to confirm internal progress.
Energy, sleep & appetite
Subjective markers we review together — they often improve first.
Medication response
If you're on a GLP-1 or other therapy, we monitor tolerance and side effects.
FAQ
Common Questions.
Am I a Candidate for GLP-1 Medication?+
Candidacy for GLP-1 therapy is a clinical determination made by your provider after evaluation of your medical history, current medications, symptoms, and appropriate laboratory testing. GLP-1 medications are not appropriate for every patient and are only prescribed when clinically indicated.
How Much Weight Will I Lose?+
Individual results vary and are not guaranteed. A-Nu Health does not promise any specific weight loss outcome. Results depend on many factors including starting health, adherence, medications, and individual physiology.
Do I Have to Take Medication to Join the Program?+
No. Many patients make meaningful progress through lifestyle coaching, lab-guided changes, and follow-up alone. Medication is one tool, not a requirement, and is only prescribed when clinically appropriate.
How Often Will I Be Seen?+
Visit frequency is individualized. Most patients are seen every 2–4 weeks early in the program and less often as the plan stabilizes.
Is This Covered by Insurance?+
Coverage depends on your plan, your diagnosis, and the specific service or medication. Our staff is here to assist you in understanding what your plan may cover before you start.
